The Whiting Foundation provides targeted support for writers, scholars, and the stewards of humanitys shared cultural heritage. The Foundation’s programs in literature include the Whiting Award, a $50,000 accolade given annually to ten emerging writers; the Creative Nonfiction Grant to enable the completion of deeply-researched works for a general audience; and the Literary Magazine Prize, which celebrates and empowers publications that enliven the literary ecosystem.
