The Writers Studio, founded in 1987 by Pulitzer Prize winning poet Philip Schultz, offers ongoing writing workshops designed to help students discover and nurture their own voices. What distinguishes The Writers Studio is our intensive focus on the craft of writing as the means for helping the writer, whether a beginner or advanced, whether focused on memoir, fiction or poetry to create a voice, or persona, that gives them the power to create work that is evocative, aesthetic and transformative. Each student receives practical teacher feedback every week in small classrooms.
