Ways of Healing

The long tail of COVID-19 has brought into view several simultaneous health crises, as well as the inability of our health care system to sufficiently address them. Some are products of the last two years; others of decades of disregard and misunderstanding. Chloé Cooper Jones (Easy Beauty), Linda Villarosa (Under the Skin: The Hidden Toll of Racism on American Lives and on the Health of Our Nation), and Meghan O’Rourke (The Invisible Kingdom: Reimagining Chronic Illness) come together to discuss the intimate overlaps between our experience of our bodies, our individual health, and the health of our society. Moderated by Amanda Stern (Little Panic: Dispatches from an Anxious Life.)
