Moomin fever has swept Brooklyn. Meet Moomimtroll and explore Brooklyn Public Library’s self-guided StoryWalk™ of Moomin and the Wishing Star based on the original stories by Tove Jansson. A StoryWalk allows families to read together as they walk. BPL also invites visitors of all ages to Central Library to see Tove Jansson and The Moomins: The Door Is Always Open, the first-ever U.S. exhibition dedicated to Tove Jansson, the beloved Finnish artist, writer and creator of the Moomins, on display through September 30.
