Maya Kornberg, author of Stuck: How Money, Media, and Violence Prevent Change in Congress, and Ian Rosenberg, author of Terrible Stuff Damaging Everybody: The True Story of Lies and Libel in Dominion v. Fox, will discuss current threats to our democracy, from violence against politicians and the distortive influence of big money in politics, to false claims about election fraud and attacks on the freedom of the press. The authors will also describe how New Yorkers can understand the important issues at stake in the midterm elections this fall.
