Historian Elyssa Maxx Goodman is joined by iconic New York City drag artists for a theatrical performance inspired by her National Bestseller book, Glitter and Concrete: A Cultural History of Drag in New York City. Following this never-before-seen interpretation of figures from the book’s ode to drag throughout the ages, both Goodman and the drag artists participate in a panel discussion and audience Q&A. Presented in collaboration with the American LGBTQ+ Museum.
