In The Lemon, Joe Keohane (writing as S.E. Boyd) explores how the death of a renowned culinary TV host drives conflict in the worlds of high-end dining and low-end media. In Sheena Patel’s I’m a Fan, an anonymous narrator stalks the married man with whom she is having an affair, as well as his influencer lover, in an examination of race, class, and privilege.
