ISSUE Project Room and Franklin Furnace present an evening celebrating their respective anniversary seasons. The program coincides with the publication and release of Back to the Present: 50 Years of Free Expression with Franklin Furnace, edited by Franklin Furnace founder Martha Wilson, who will be in conversation with Bradley Eros, an alum of both organizations’ programs. They will discuss the commitment to live art and alternative NYC cultural spaces. The evening also features a collaborative performance by 2023 ISSUE resident, Jean Carla Rodea, and 2019-20 Franklin Furnace awardee, Arantxa Araujo. This event will feature an open bar, and each ticket includes a choice of one complimentary printed artist’s publication by Franklin Furnace alumns.
