A Literary Salon with Imani Perry

The Center for Black Literature at Medgar Evers College, CUNY, will host a literary salon with Dr. Imani Perry, author of six books, including most recently Breathe: A Letter to My Sons and  Looking for Lorraine: The Radiant and Radical Life of Lorraine Hansberry, which received the PEN/Bograd Weld Award for Biography. Perry is Hughes-Rogers Professor of African American Studies at Princeton University. Dr. Perry will be joined in conversation with Dr. Brenda M. Greene, executive director and founder of Center for Black Literature.
