Will Brewer is the author of the novel The Red Arrow (Knopf 2022) and two books of poems, Nocturama (Milkweed 2026) and I Know Your Kind (Milkweed 2017). His work has appeared in The New Yorker, The Nation, The Sewanee Review, The Yale Review, and The Best American Poetry series. He’s the recipient of a Silver Medal from the California Book Awards, a National Poetry Series prize, two Bread Loaf Fellowships, and a Stegner Fellowship. He teaches at Stanford and lives in Oakland, CA.
