Author of 21 books of poetry, fiction, memoir, biography, and translation, Terese Svoboda published Dog on Fire, her eighth book of fiction, in March. Her work has appeared in the NYTimes, Harper’s, the Atlantic, Bomb, Granta and elsewhere. She has two more books of fiction forthcoming next year: Roxy and Coco and The Long Swim, which won the Juniper Prize.
