Stacie Evans

Stacie lives and works in Brooklyn. She writes fiction, essays, and poetry. She’s just had a birthday, so she can officially say that she’s been a writer for 50 years, which is either an achievement or a commitment to pigheadedness. At the moment, she is working on a comics project called Adventures in Racism. She is a four-time alum of the VONA Voices writing workshops. Her work has appeared in New South, The Powder Room, After Ferguson,_ Bitch Magazine_, and The Rumpus. She writes online at “if you want kin, you must plant kin …”
