Sarah Glidden is a non-fiction cartoonist and illustrator living in Brooklyn. Her first graphic novel, How to Understand Israel in 60 Days or Less, was published by Vertigo Comics in 2010 and was featured in the Best American Comics series. It is now published by Drawn and Quarterly as is her New York Times bestselling second book, Rolling Blackouts, in which she follows journalists to Turkey, Iraq and Syria as they report on the fallout of the war in Iraq. Her short comics articles have appeared in The Guardian, the Nib, Topic and a variety of other publications.
