Sabir Sultan is the director of the World Voices Festival and Literary Programs at PEN America. He has curated literary programs for over a decade. Across NYC, he has programmed events in partnership with The Town Hall, Lincoln Center, and Symphony Space. He annually co-curates European Literature Night with the members of the EUNIC New York cluster. He has co-curated literary discussions at festivals across the country including the Texas Book Festival and the Miami Book Fair. Prior to PEN America he was the Director of Events at The Strand Book Store and an Events Manager at Barnes & Noble. He attended Bard College at Simon’s Rock and George Mason University.
