Nicholas Mancusi is a fiction writer and cultural critic. His essays, reviews, interviews and features have appeared in the New York Times Book Review, Boston Globe, Miami Herald, Time Magazine, Newsday, Newsweek, American Arts Quarterly, BOMB Magazine, Inside Hook, and many others. His short fiction has appeared in McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern and Joyland Magazine. In 2019, Hanover Square Press published his debut novel, entitled A PHILOSOPHY OF RUIN, which was called “riveting fun to read” by the New York Times Book Review, and was listed as one of the best books of the summer by Time Magazine. He lives in Brooklyn.
