Najah Abdul-Qawiyy is a black Muslim poet born and raised in Staten Island, NY with her Bachelors in Psychology, and Masters in Creative Arts Therapy. She has been performing poetry since the age of 15 across Staten Island, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and NJ. Her poetry stems from personal experience and her environment. Along with the areas she is passionate about. Such as social justice, mental health, and the arts. She has put together events in the community to provide more outlets for various artists and combine art with causes such as the Art of Protest, Poetry and Paint and Geek Out At Staten Island.
