Mateo García Elizondo (Mexico City, 1987) is a writer and screenwriter. He has written short films, as well as the feature film DESIERTO (2015). His first novel Una cita con la Lady won the City of Barcelona prize for Spanish language literature, and has been translated to half a dozen languages. He was included in Granta magazines’ selection of the best Spanish language writers under 35.
