Game designer and D&D Dungeon Master Maiia Lysytska works at the intersection of play, performance, and storytelling, creating memorable collaborative experiences. Their stories are filled with lighthearted comedy and meaningful themes, taking players to a quaint harbor, a dragon’s lair, or outer space. Currently, they are working with The Dungeon Alliance Inc. and Crystal Sword Games to build more accessible tabletop RPG communities in New York and beyond. At the Brooklyn Book Festival, Maiia will bring young readers and acclaimed authors for an adventure together at the depths of the New York subway system, to explore dangers and secrets hidden beneath the City.
