Madelaine Lucas is the author of the debut novel, Thirst for Salt, which was named a New York Times’ Editors choice, and a senior editor of NOON. Originally from Sydney, Australia, she teaches fiction at Columbia University and lives in Brooklyn with her family. Her writing has appeared in publications including The Guardian, The Believer, Literary Hub, BOMB and elsewhere.
