Kōtuku Titihuia Nuttall (Te Ātiawa, Ngāti Tūwharetoa, W̱SÁNEĆ) holds an MA from the International Institute of Modern Letters. She won the 2020 Adam Foundation Prize and was runner-up in the 2021 Surrey Hotel-Newsroom writer’s residency award. Her first book, Tauhou, was published in Aotearoa New Zealand (2022) by Te Herenga Waka Press and in Turtle Island (2023) by House of Anansi Press. She is currently a doctoral candidate at the International Institute of Modern Letters and lives with her two dogs and partner in Te Whānganui-a-Tara.
