Ken Chen is the author of the poetry collection Juvenilia, which was selected for the Yale Series of Younger Poets by Louise Glück. His forthcoming novel from W.W. Norton, The Time of Encounters, explores his search for his late father and his encounters with people from the history of colonialism. Previously the Executive Director of the Asian American Writers’ Workshop, he currently teaches at Barnard College.
