Joe Keohane is a veteran journalist who worked as a writer and editor for two decades before jumping to books. His first novel, The Lemon, co-written with Kevin Alexander and Alessandra Lusardi under the pseudonym SE Boyd, concerns the suspicious death of a food world celebrity, and the feeding frenzy that follows. He also wrote the nonfiction book The Power of Strangers, a sweeping and deeply researched case for talking to people we don’t know, which Kirkus Reviews and Kurt Andersen both somehow called “possibly life-changing.” He lives in New York City with his wife and 7-year-old daughter.
