Jessica Phillips Lorenz is a writer, performer, and cancer-mom. She has performed her original solo shows throughout New York City; her newest, BEST PARTY EVER!, is premiering this October 2022 with Emerging Artists Theatre’s New Work Series. Her work has appeared in Insider, Romper, Real Simple, Parents.com, MUTHA Magazine (Pushcart nominee), and a theatre festival for babies in Northern Ireland. Jess was recently awarded a writers’ fellowship at the Ragdale Institute, in Lake Forest, IL that she looks forward to attending in 2023. Jess is a member of the Coalition Against Childhood Cancer, Momcology, and Emerging Artists Theatre. She lives in Brooklyn with her husband, two children and pet snail.
