Jess Ruliffson is an award-winning cartoonist who teaches comics, gouache, and drawing at The Sequential Artists Workshop in Gainesville, FL and at The School of Visual Arts in NYC. Her work has been featured by Buzzfeed, The Boston Globe, The Nib, and Pantheon books. In 2017, her comic I Trained to Fight The Enemy was shortlisted for Slate’s Cartoonist Studio Prize. Her newest book, Invisible Wounds: Graphic Journalism, is out from Fantagraphics in August 2022.
