Gina Apostol’s first books, Bibliolepsy and The Revolution According to Raymundo Mata, published originally in Manila where they both won the Philippine National Book Award, are now out in the US. She won the 2022 Rome Prize to work on The Treatment of Paz. Her forthcoming novel, La Tercera, will be out in May 2023. Insurrecto was named by Publishers’ Weekly one of the Ten Best Books of 2018, selected as an Editor’s Choice of the NYT, and shortlisted for the Dayton Prize. Gun Dealers’ Daughter won the 2013 PEN/Open Book Award. She lives in New York City.
