Ernesto Saade is an architect by training, who graduated from the Central American University (UCA) in El Salvador. In 2016, he turned to comics and completed a Master’s in Illustration and Comics at Elisava, Barcelona. Since then, he has written and illustrated stories inspired by real events, collaborating between 2018 and 2022 with FUNDASAL and other NGOs to create nine graphic novels on social issues, before continuing his career independently. In 2024, he published his first graphic novel, Just Another Story. His second work, Red Stones, set during the Salvadoran Civil War, was released in 2026. He is currently working on City Kids, its sequel, scheduled for publication in 2027.
