Elvira K. Gonzalez is an author, founder, activist, athlete, and former professional track & field coach. She grew up in Laredo Texas, a city that features prominently in her debut Young Adult Non-Fiction book, Hurdles in the Dark. Elvira landed a six-figure, pre-empt deal with Roaring Brook Press of MacMillan Publishers for Spring 2023 publication. Her book is represented by literary agent, Zeynep Sen. Elvira’s book is currently in pre-production as a feature film. She is also the founder of Writers Inkubator, the first literary online learning platform offering self-paced guided courses with downloadable templates to help first time writers champion their book idea from beginning stages to post-publication.
