Edward M. Cohen’s Before Stonewall received the 2019 Awst Press Book Prize. His novel, $250,000, was published by Putnam. His novella, A Visit to my Father with my Son, appeared in Eclectica. His story, Peroxide Blonde, won the 2020 Key West Tennessee Williams Prize. His plays have been produced all over off-off Broadway and, for many years, he was associate director of New York’s Jewish Repertory Theatre. He has been a fellow at the Edward Albee Foundation, O’Neill Playwrights Conference, and has received grants from the NEA and New York State Council on the Arts.
