C.I. Atumah is a Nigerian writer, researcher, and cultural curator. Her work explores the lives of ordinary people through themes of womanhood, faith, identity, and social justice. Her short story, The Prophecy, was named one of Afrocritik’s Remarkable Short Stories of 2025, and her short story on the involvement of young women in the #EndSARS movement, The Bloodied-Green-White-Green, was featured in the Heinrich Böll Foundation’s Voices of a Generation dossier. She founded Literary Denizens, an organisation building community around African storytelling through literature, film, art and conversation. She was a ResearchRound LUNE AI Fellow for her research, Uncovering AI’s Bias in Language Prompts and the Generation of African Images.
