Arantxa Araujo is a queer Mexican transdisciplinary artist, curator, and cultural organizer. Araujo creates multisensory environments that investigate the body as a site of memory, perception, ritual, and interdependence. Influenced by neuroscience, somatic practice, and social choreography, their work explores migration, belonging, care, and alternative ways of relating to one another. Their work has been presented at the Brooklyn Museum, Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art, Queens Museum, Abrons Arts Center, Museo Ex Teresa Arte Actual, Triskelion Arts, and through festivals including Illuminus and Nuit Blanche. Araujo serves as Program Manager at the Foundation for Contemporary Arts and is a Curator of Art in Odd Places 2026: UTOPIAS.
